I’m not dead yet

Technically, yeah. This week is so hectic that I can hardly afford any time out to study. Things after things bombarded into my calendar. My eye bags are really showing. Fuwa fuwa eyes. Ya.

End of semester 1 week 6

Argh.. everything is much more difficult than I have first imagined. The pace was blazing fast and I couldn't catch up on the lectures. Sure gives me a hanging in the air feeling, as though the goal is drifting further and further away from my grasp.

I really want to do some art now, and there are still photos waiting to be edited. Time, I need you!

NTUCO Orientation

Approved by Zieg under clause ,

Today is the Chinese Orchestra Orientation. Haha, not alot of people turned up, I suppose. There are only about 18 freshies that came.

I went to look for the PVS first. They had the video course in the morning and when I was there, I was shocked to see only one applicant turned up. <.< After looking at a few short clips, it’s ‘Hi-and-then-bye’ for me. Haha.

Got to knew more people from other sections, though I don’t remember anybody’s name x.x So sorry.

The orientation kicks off to some remote place which I think it’s great to take photos of! *noted down* It was some flip-the-card and opening-them-in-ascending-order kind of game. With my terrible memory, I soon find myself snapping my camera away at both teams.

Yes, I’m UN-OFFICIALLY out of the games!

We won in the end even though our cheer never hit the mark. After that, we took the shuttle back to the clubhouse to wait for the other team to start the next game.

And wait we did.

Wait.

Wait.

..

Take a few more shots. Oh, here they comes. Finally.

The next game is a battle of scissors-paper-stone across a lane of chairs. I think the pictures will explain better :D

After the game is done, we went back into the function room to begin the last game. The 4 teams are joined into 2. A central divide is lifted to prevent each sides from seeing each other. 2 representatives from each side are required to call out the names of the other team’s representatives when the central divide is down. The side that fails will have their representatives absorbed into the winning side. The other team was dominant throughout and it ends off with a bang.

A mini birthday celebration for the August/September birthday boys and girls :) The chocolate cake tasted good, so were the berries. *evil deathstare to someone xD*

Most people left after the orientation, and the rest of us went to Sakae sushi to have some japanese lunch. My miyashi (cold) ramen looks really presentable and it was appetizing. So thus, the day ends at 5pm. Yea~ 272 photos to qc and edit. <.<

Hort Park & Merlion Park outing

Approved by Zieg under clause ,

Wow, went to Hort Park early in the morning with the club for some macro shooting. I don't particularly enjoy macro, so I went around pew pew people :D

And we were at the entrance for like... an hour o.0

The time lapse shots are fun. Haha, can't wait to see the result. So were all the jump shots :) Thomas act cute. :D

Went back to Vivocity to get lunch. I wanted to eat wanton mee, but I can't seemed to find the stall even though the foodcourt is so small <.< Settled for some carrot cake in the end. The food is expensive (for me) =3=

AH THE STITCH IS SO CUTE.

Merlion park is filled with tourists. Ahaha @ the shots with the big merlion. Why don't you, you and you pose more? Haha tell me to pose instead, diao~

Reached home at 8.20pm and off to upload the photos (^-^ )
And Sunday is mugging day *again*
(Mugging means intensive studying)

The end of week 2

Approved by Zieg under clause

How time flies. Without a sense of direction, I had reached the end of the beginning. Workload has noticeably increased and I’m starting to feel a bit of struggle from my soul. Came and went as everything had been.

I didn’t manage to add any module that I want. I had to shift around my timetable first since it was literally action-packed, which was a daunting task in the first place. In the end I had to settle for Highly Explosives 191; Principles of Economics... Fight whatever that comes my way. My pencil will one day be the pencil that pierce through the heavens...

I had lost the reason to why I’m even in Computer Engineering in the first place...

Still, the laptop smells great.
